‘Julian helped my oldest son during his final year at school, following a poor AS result in maths. Everything ‘clicked’ in time for A2s, pulling his final grade up to the A he needed. We have also called on Julian to work his magic on his younger brother, who is still at school. Julian is gentle, patient and highly intelligent, with a wide range of interests; I have no hesitation in recommending him as a tutor.’

Julian helped me in my penultimate year of school with Biology and Physics AS level. He was fantastic at guiding me through complicated steps and ensuring that I was not overburdened with unnecessary information, distilling classroom discussions into memorable notes. He was especially useful in finding ways to help me with my Dyslexia, thinking outside the box when explaining difficult concepts and allowing me to understand them within my own frame of reference. A kind, patient and supremely knowledgeable tutor who takes a large responsibility for my top AS and A level grades.

Julian taught my son and daughter over a number of years, helping them with Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and lending insights into Art, Geography and several other subjects along the way. We all found his teaching methods effective and enjoyable and he certainly helped my children achieve excellent results that enabled them to get places at the universities of their choice. We would happily recommend him as a tutor.
